These terms apply when you use Goddo: the web app at goddo.kids (including Mars Mission), the Goddo device, and related services ("Goddo"), provided by Goddo Labs Private Limited ("Goddo Labs", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Goddo, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Accounts are for parents
You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of any child you add. You create and manage the account, create each child profile, and give consent for your child to use Goddo. You are responsible for activity on your account and its child profiles, and for keeping your sign-in and any PINs safe.
2. Children use Goddo with a parent in charge
Children talk to Goddo through the device or the web app, using a profile you created. Goddo is not meant for children to use without a parent's oversight. You decide when and how much your child uses it, and you can review their conversations in your dashboard. AI companions are not right for every child; you know your child best, so please watch how they use Goddo and take breaks from screens and calls.
3. What Goddo is, and what it is not
- Goddo is an AI, not a person, and it tells children so if they ask. It can be wrong, misunderstand, or say something unexpected. We work to keep it kind, age-appropriate and safe, but we cannot guarantee every reply.
- Goddo is not a substitute for a parent, teacher, doctor, therapist or any other professional, and it does not give medical, legal or psychological advice.
- Goddo is not an emergency service. If a child may be in danger, contact local emergency services.
- How Goddo responds when a child mentions self-harm, being hurt, or hurting someone, and how safety alerts work, is described in section 6 of our Privacy Policy. Safety alerts are a best-effort tool. They can miss things or flag something that isn't a real concern, and they do not replace your supervision.
4. Plans and payments
- Each child profile includes 30 free minutes of conversation.
- Minute packs are one-time payments. Their minutes don't expire.
- Unlimited, monthly is a subscription. It renews automatically every month and charges the same payment method until you cancel. We email you a few days before each renewal. You can cancel anytime from the Plans page in the app (Manage or cancel subscription) or by emailing us; your child keeps Unlimited until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Unlimited, one time is a single payment for 30 days. It doesn't renew.
- Plans are bought per child. Prices and what's included are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. We may change prices or plans for future purchases and renewals; we'll email you before a price change affects your subscription.
- If something went wrong with a purchase, email us and we'll make it right.
5. Service availability
Goddo needs an internet connection. We work to keep it running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free, and features may change as we improve it.
6. Your data
Conversations and other data are handled as described in our Privacy Policy, including which providers process it, who can access it, and how to delete it. Your child's data belongs to your family; you give us permission to use it only to provide and improve Goddo as that policy describes.
7. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Use Goddo for anything unlawful, harmful or abusive
- Try to bypass its safeguards, PINs or access controls
- Access another family's account or data
- Interfere with, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put children at risk.
8. Ownership
Goddo's software, hardware designs, characters, voices, branding and content belong to Goddo Labs or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute or commercially exploit them without our written permission.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using Goddo at any time and delete a child's data or your whole account yourself in Settings, or ask us to (see our Privacy Policy). Deleting your account does not cancel a payment already made; cancel a monthly subscription from the Plans page first. We may suspend or end access if required for legal, safety or operational reasons.
10. Liability
Goddo is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Goddo Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai, India have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you can also rely on the mandatory consumer protection laws, and bring claims in the courts, of the country where you live.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is meaningful, we'll update this page and let you know by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Goddo after that means you accept the updated terms.
