i built goddo for my niece.
she told me she wanted a little device she could talk to.
not something to type into. not something to scroll on.
just something she could hold in her hand and speak to.she said she wanted a friend she could vent to when I wasn’t around.
someone she could bounce her wild ideas off.
someone who would listen when she was bored or when she just wanted to say something out loud.i couldn’t always be there for her.
i couldn’t always pick up the phone.
so i made goddo for her.
a buddy that listens, talks back, and never runs out of patience.it started with her.
but as i built it, i realized it’s bigger than that.

Privacy Policy

Goddo is designed for use by families. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled across the Goddo device, parent applications and the Goddo web app.
1. Overview
Goddo does not sell personal data. Data is used solely to provide the Goddo experience to parents and their children and is accessible only to the parent account associated with a child profile.
2. Parent Accounts
Parents create and manage accounts using the Goddo mobile app or web app. Parent accounts are used to:
• Authenticate access
• Create and manage child profiles
• View activity, insights, and interaction history associated with their own child profiles or paired devicesWe collect only the minimum information required to operate the service (such as email for authentication).
3. Child Profiles and Interactions
Parents may create child profiles under their account. Children may interact with Goddo in two ways:
• Through the standalone Goddo hardware device
• Through the Goddo web app, where children can talk to Goddo directlyWhen a child interacts with Goddo, the system processes voice or text input to generate responses. These interactions may be stored so that:
• Parents can review conversations, summaries, or insights
• The system can provide continuity and a better experience over timeGoddo does not require children to provide real names, contact details, or precise location information.
4. Children’s Data
Goddo does not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is necessary to operate the service as configured by the parent.All child interaction data:
• Is linked only to the parent’s account
• Is not shared with other users
• Is not used for advertising
• Is not sold or shared with third partiesParents are in control of child profiles and may request deletion of associated data.
5. Data Storage and Security
All data is securely stored using Firebase and associated cloud infrastructure. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
6. Third-Party Services
Goddo uses third-party infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting and AI processing services) strictly to operate the product. These providers process data only on Goddo’s behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
7. Data Retention
Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service or until a parent deletes their account or child profile, after which associated data is removed in accordance with our retention practices.
8. Parental Rights
Parents may:
• Access data associated with their child’s profile
• Request corrections or deletion

By accessing or using Goddo hardware, mobile apps, web apps, or related services (“Goddo”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Eligibility and Account Responsibility
Goddo is intended for use by children under the supervision and control of a parent or legal guardian.
A parent or guardian must create and manage the account, create child profiles, and provide consent for a child’s use of Goddo.Parents are responsible for all activity that occurs under their account and associated child profiles.
2. Use by Children
Children may interact with Goddo:
• Through the standalone Goddo hardware device
• Through the Goddo web app, where children can communicate directly with GoddoChildren must use Goddo only through profiles created and managed by a parent. Goddo is not intended for independent use by children without parental oversight.
3. Services and Availability
Goddo requires an active internet Wi-Fi connection. Offline use is not supported.Goddo’s features, functionality, and availability may change over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Pricing, subscriptions, and billing terms are presented clearly at checkout.Prices and plans may change from time to time. Changes apply prospectively and do not affect already-paid billing periods unless stated otherwise.Failure to maintain an active subscription may result in limited or suspended access to certain features.
5. Data and Privacy
Goddo processes data generated through interactions in order to provide the service, including when children interact via the web app or device.All data is associated with the parent’s account and managed through parent-facing tools.
Use of Goddo is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how data is collected, used, stored, and deleted.
6. Intellectual Property
All Goddo hardware designs, software, content, audio, branding, and intellectual property are owned by Goddo Labs Private Limited or its licensors.You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of Goddo without written permission.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Misuse the service
• Attempt to bypass safeguards or access controls
• Use Goddo for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
• Interfere with the operation or security of the serviceWe reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated.
8. Termination
Parents may stop using Goddo at any time by discontinuing use or deleting their account.
Goddo may suspend or terminate access if required for legal, safety, or operational reasons.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of Goddo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Shipping & Delivery

We hand-assemble every Goddo unit with care. Here's how shipping works:
Coverage: We ship worldwide.
Dispatch Time: Goddo is made-to-order. It takes approximately 20 business days to assemble your unit before dispatch.
Delivery Time: After dispatch, standard delivery takes an estimated 5–8 business days, depending on your location and courier timelines.
Tracking: Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive tracking information via email.
Shipping Charges: Shipping cost is dynamically calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. Free shipping may apply during promotional campaigns.
Duties & Customs (International): If you are charged import duties, we’ve got your back — just share proof of payment and we’ll refund you. We're a small indie startup and want to make this right for early supporters.
Damage Claims: If your product is damaged during shipping, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery for assistance.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We want you to love Goddo. Here’s how cancellations and refunds work:
Device Purchase
Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours if they haven’t been shipped.
Once shipped, cancellations are not allowed.
Defective units can be replaced if reported within 10 days of delivery.
Subscription
Subscriptions are non-refundable after activation.
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time via the app.
Returns
Returns are accepted only for damaged or defective products within 10 days.
Items must be in original packaging with all accessories intact.

Goddo Labs Private Limited is an early-stage company building Goddo, a small AI voice-only device that helps kids talk, learn and express themselves safely. We use Google Cloud (Vertex AI / Gemini) for our AI speech and reasoning workloads. Based in Mumbai, India 🇮🇳
We help parents move their kids away from endless scrolling and short-form video into healthier, screen‑free conversations powered by AI. Our target users are families with young children (roughly 4–10 years old) that want safer ways for kids to explore technology.
We are currently in early access / beta with a small group of families in India and actively developing new features on Google Cloud.
